Welcome to Avenna Studios! The artistic vision of photographers and brothers Ben and Vince Schaefer, providing bridal and boston wedding photography and all photographic services throughout Boston, Massachusetts, New England and destinations worldwide. Our goal is to simultaneously capture and document the moments and details of your wedding day by mixing photojournalism and candid captures with our ability to create stunning artistic photographs from those moments.

We want your wedding experience to be fun and relaxed; no awkward or stiff posing, but just naturally guided situations that allow real moments to happen with your loved ones. These moments will lend themselves to amazing art and documented moments to preserve for generations in the form of wedding albums, contemporary or traditional, eco friendly, and flush mount coffee table albums that are all hand crafted, designed and laid out by Ben and Vince in house. We also specialize in a wide range of prints for your wall including framing, canvas and "stand" out prints of any size that can be customized for your home and lighting situation.

Boston Engagements

Our style and services blend seamlessly to capture amazing portraiture sessions with out couples in the form of wedding engagement sessions. These sessions are super fun and often involve the local areas that are meaningful to you! The images capture during these engagement sessions are hand designed and printed into flush mount engagement albums used as "sign-in" books for your guests on your wedding day.

Celebrations

We are blessed to have been a part of many types of celebrations allowing us to be a Catholic wedding photographer, Protestant Wedding photographer and a Jewish wedding photographer and a Greek wedding photographer in Boston. We love the different traditions of each culture and non denominational as well as non traditional wedding photographer such as a same-sex, lesbian and gay friendly wedding photographer.

Destinations and Venues

We are based out of Watertown, MA and love shooting in and around the greater Boston area, but we also love to travel both locally and for destinations internationally. We love working with longwood events and the Belle mer, Stateroom and Veronique as well as the Seaport, Westin hotels, Renaissance hotels, Mandarin Oriental. As well as working and providing services in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Cape Code, Rhode Island, Martha's Vineyard and New York City (NYC).
